Sherwin-Williams Lands $750M Term Loan to Refinance Debt
Sherwin-Williams, a leading paint and coatings manufacturer, has secured a $750 million 364-day term loan led by Citibank to refinance its existing debt. The new agreement, signed on September 24, 2026, matures on September 23, 2027.
The proceeds from the loan may be used to refinance Sherwin-Williams' prior facility and for general corporate purposes. Concurrently, the company repaid and terminated its 364-day delayed draw term loan with the same lending group in August 2025, which was paid off early without any exit fees or payments.
The new agreement simplifies Sherwin-Williams' capital structure under updated terms, providing a more streamlined financial framework for the company. This move is aimed at supporting the company's general corporate purposes and refinance existing debt.
