Sherwin-Williams has officially opened its expanded manufacturing facility in Statesville, North Carolina, making it the company's largest plant in North America. The facility, which specializes in architectural paint and coatings, was inaugurated on September 30, 2026, according to a company release reported by PR Newswire.
The expansion project included nearly 50,000 square feet of improvements, enhanced production space, automation upgrades, and the addition of four new rail spurs. These upgrades are designed to boost manufacturing capacity and improve logistics, complementing a nearby distribution service center. Sherwin-Williams has maintained a presence in Statesville since 1993.
