Shoran Potter Releases Debut Children's Book, Ollie-Otter Potter: First Day of School

High Springs educator and administrator Shoran Potter has released her first children's book, Ollie-Otter Potter: First Day of School. The story follows a young otter named Ollie as he navigates his first day of school at Riverbend Elementary.

Potter, who has been an educator for over 30 years and is the Head Administrator at First Christian Academy in High Springs, drew from her own experiences to create relatable moments in the story. The book's release marks her seventh year at the school.

Ollie-Otter Potter: First Day of School will be available on Amazon starting October 1st. To celebrate its launch, Potter is hosting a special reading for First Christian Academy's preschool through second-grade students on Friday.
