Shu Xiong Takes Helm as President, Managing Director of Chevron Bangladesh

Shu Xiong has been appointed as the president and managing director of Chevron Bangladesh. She began her new role on August 1, 2026, succeeding Eric M Walker, who served for six years.

Xiong comes from a background in senior leadership roles at Chevron, where she held positions across strategy, forecasting, trading, operations, and planning since joining the company in 2007. She previously managed Chevron's China Business Unit, overseeing upstream business and energy value-chain activities.

Commenting on her appointment, Xiong expressed enthusiasm for joining the Bangladesh team and emphasized her commitment to deepening Chevron's relationship with the Government of Bangladesh and Petrobangla.
