Sitharaman Meets JPMorgan's Dimon Amid India Economy Optimism
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met Jamie Dimon, Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co., in Mumbai during the investment bank's India Investor Conference. The meeting was part of Dimon's travel agenda, which included scheduled meetings with top executives from India's major conglomerates.
During the 11th edition of the J.P. Morgan India Investor Conference, Sitharaman addressed the gathering and participated in a fireside chat with Mr Sajjid Chinoy, Head of Asia Economics at @jpmorgan.
JPMorgan has maintained its positive outlook on India's economy, retaining a target of 27,000 for the Nifty 50 benchmark index. The brokerage estimated earnings growth for MSCI India at 11 per cent for CY26 and 13 per cent for CY27.
