Six Flags Prepares Big Announcements This Week
Theme park enthusiasts are in for a treat this week as Six Flags is set to make several announcements that will impact their experiences. In addition to these announcements, Six Flags Magic Mountain has confirmed that it will reveal details about its Vekoma Thrill Glider coaster on Thursday.
Meanwhile, at Walt Disney World, a media preview for the new Magic of Disney Animation pavilion at Disney's Hollywood Studios will take place on Wednesday. The pavilion is set to open officially on September 14. On Friday, SeaWorld will kick off its annual Howl-O-Scream haunt event in Orlando, San Diego, and San Antonio.
Some attractions are scheduled for refurbishment at Disneyland this week and next. These include the Indiana Jones Adventure, which closes on September 8 with no reopening date announced, and the Mad Tea Party, which will be closed from September 14 to 16.
