Six New Cast Members Join Prime Video’s Things We Never Got Over Adaptation
Prime Video’s upcoming series adaptation of Lucy Score’s Things We Never Got Over has expanded its cast with six new additions. Sean Teale, Sarah Jeffery, Megan Stott, Lili Simmons, Anthony Keyvan, and JoBeth Williams have joined the project, which is based on Score’s bestselling novel. They will play Lucian, Sloane, Waylay, Lina, Stef, and Liza J, respectively.
The series, developed by Ringer creators Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder, centers on Naomi Witt, a runaway bride who arrives in the eccentric town of Knockemout, Virginia. Expecting to reunite with her estranged twin sister, Naomi instead discovers a niece she never knew existed and becomes entangled in the town’s quirky dynamics, including relationships with sheriff Nash Morgan and his brother Knox.
The novel, the first in Score’s Knockemout trilogy, became a New York Times bestseller and one of the most-read titles on Kindle Unlimited since its 2022 release. The trilogy concluded in 2023. Charmelo and Snyder, who wrote the pilot, will serve as co-showrunners and executive producers, with Lucy Score also involved as a co-executive producer. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
