Six Ravens Brings Savory Flavors to Disney Springs Tomorrow
Six Ravens, the sister location of Gideon's Bakehouse in Disney Springs, is finally opening its doors tomorrow, August 3rd. According to an announcement by The Orlando Sentinel, the new restaurant will be soft opening with a focus on savory options, including hand pies called Coffyns. These yeast rolls are filled with partner-created fillings from local chefs such as Red Panda Noodle, Pizza Bruno, Smoke & Donuts, Pink Salamander, and Papi's Burritos.
Founder Steve Lewis emphasized that the concept of Six Ravens is about 'paying it forward', with a menu centered around Coffyns, potatoes, beer, and dessert. The only current dessert on offer is The Tart's Tempest, a Gideon's chocolate chip tart filled with rich chocolate fudge and topped with freshly made raspberry jam.
While the restaurant itself may be smaller than its sibling Gideon's Bakehouse, it will still have a distinct atmosphere, described as 'darker' by Lewis. To match this aesthetic, the menu is kept small for now, focusing on just a few key items. Fans of the new spot can also expect an influx of merchandise related to Six Ravens.
