Slinky Dog Dash at Disney's Hollywood Studios has been experiencing reliability issues over the past month. The roller coaster, which is one of the most popular attractions in Toy Story Land, was closed for a total of three and a half days due to unscheduled refurbishment on August 31st and September 1st, as well as an additional day on September 2nd.

The attraction's problems began accelerating in mid-August, with daily downtime ranging from one hour to nearly nine hours. On August 30th, Slinky Dog Dash broke down around 6 pm, and the multi-day closure ensued.

Walt Disney World did not comment on the cause of the closure, but maintenance teams were spotted active around the attraction. The ride's Lightning Lane inventory was also pulled for September 12th.

After reopening on September 3rd, Slinky Dog Dash operated for only a few hours before breaking down again at 8:58 am. As of 12:30 pm, the roller coaster remained nonoperational.
