Guests visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios received an unexpected notification on September 26, when the My Disney Experience app alerted visitors that the Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster was experiencing technical difficulties. The message appeared while guests were inside the park, catching the attention of at least one visitor who shared a screenshot on Reddit titled 'It’s bad at Hollywood Studios today.'

The notification sparked discussion and curiosity among Disney World fans, with some explaining that similar notifications have appeared when major attractions experience extended downtime. However, others noted it doesn't necessarily mean a ride will stay closed for the rest of the day.

Slinky Dog Dash has been experiencing repeated downtime since August 19, with particularly long closures on August 28 and 29. The ride had reopened on September 3, but closed again about 30 minutes later and remained unavailable for the rest of the day.
