Snap's Spec AR Glasses Score Big Enterprise Deals with Salesforce, NVIDIA
Snap's Spec augmented reality (AR) glasses have made waves in the tech world after partnering with major players like Salesforce, NVIDIA, and Amazon. The move has seen Snap's stock price jump 4% to $5.95, extending a modest bounce off recent lows.
The partnership sees Salesforce embedding its Agentforce agent platform into Specs, allowing workers to access company data and automate tasks through the glasses. NVIDIA provides the AI that enables Specs to interpret what workers are looking at and pull up relevant company information. Amazon contributes its cloud unit's assistant, enabling voice commands for tasks such as checking product availability.
Specs has repositioned itself from a consumer curiosity to a piece of workplace hardware, with a premium price tag of $2,195. Changing the buyer from a consumer to a company outfitting a factory floor or field-service crew is the crux of Snap's bull case.
