Soboba Tribal Preschool Thrives with Scholastic Book Fair

The Soboba Tribal Preschool in California recently hosted a Scholastic Book Fair, which drew a strong turnout from parents and students. According to Preschool Director Lenora 'Ponie' Mojado, over 100 books were sold during the event.

The most popular book characters among preschool children include Monster Trucks, Bluey, Paw Patrol, and Disney Princesses. Teachers also reported that Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Pete the Cat series are fan favorites.

Teachers believe that reading to their students is essential for developing language skills, cognitive development, bonding, and school preparation. They also emphasize the importance of introducing new words and teaching language sounds through reading.
