SoCura Cuts Data Wait Times by Up to 70% with Microsoft Fabric
IT service provider SoCura has significantly improved its data wait times by up to 70% after implementing a unified data and analytics platform built on Microsoft Fabric. The company partnered with data analytics consultancy Dataciders to build the new platform, which replaced its legacy Qlik Sense environment.
The new platform enables SoCura to consolidate hundreds of reports under a single governance model, providing scalable, modern analytics, and future AI use cases. It includes notebooks and smart centralisation for transporting data from its source to reports more efficiently, resulting in an 80% increase in data transport performance.
By creating data pipelines, SoCura was able to accelerate data retrieval by up to 70%. The company can now leverage Microsoft Fabric's core features, including OneLake, Data Factory, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Power BI, to store data centrally, simplify data integration, optimise transformation processes, and improve reporting and analytics capabilities.
SoCura plans to extend its use of Microsoft Fabric by introducing advanced analytics methods, AI-powered insights, agentive AI, and self-service reporting capabilities. The company's senior project manager, Thomas Wilhelm Krueger, stated that Microsoft Fabric has redefined SoCura's reporting, providing significantly higher performance, faster data processes, and a unified, future-ready business intelligence platform.
