Solidigm Eyes $150B IPO Amid NVIDIA Demand Boom
SK Hynix's US subsidiary Solidigm is reportedly considering an initial public offering (IPO) as early as next year. The NAND flash and storage unit could be valued at up to $150 billion. Solidigm met with investment banks this week in a competitive 'bake-off' for IPO roles, according to sources.
The demand for NVIDIA Corp.'s GPUs has skyrocketed, with even cloud providers with poorly functioning infrastructure still finding customers willing to pay healthy margins. Buyers are eager to get their hands on GPUs, regardless of the provider's technical issues.
Meanwhile, Walt Disney Co. is raising prices again, this time increasing ad-free plans and several bundles by 13% to $21.49 per month. This move comes after previous price hikes in 2023.
