Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's comments on the future of cybersecurity have sent South Korean security stocks soaring. In his remarks at the Goldman Sachs technology conference, held in San Francisco on the 10th, Huang stated that 'cybersecurity is likely to be AI's next major use case.'

He explained that as AI models advance, computing programming automation accelerates, creating both opportunities and threats. This acceleration leads to a quicker pace of development for both offensive and defensive technologies.

The market reacted strongly to Huang's remarks, with SAND Lab hitting its daily price limit at 7,160 won (approximately $5.3) after rising 29.95% from the previous session. Other security stocks, such as Fasoo AI, Monitors Lab, and Hanssak, also surged in value.

While the market sees benefits from this industry transformation, some caution that profit-taking could emerge after the sharp short-term run-up. SAND Lab's partial giveback of gains during the morning is seen as reflecting these concerns.
