Elon Musk announced on SpaceX's earnings call that his company will be exclusively using Nvidia GPUs for its compute capacity. The decision is a significant commitment to the technology, with SpaceX set to receive a substantial percentage of Nvidia's GPUs next year.

Musk praised Nvidia's Vera Rubin architecture as 'the best AI computer' and stated that he values the partnership between the two companies. This move cuts out rival chipmakers such as Intel, AMD, and Broadcom from supplying GPUs to SpaceX.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has previously expressed admiration for Musk and his companies, calling him an 'extraordinary engineer'. The exclusive contract with Nvidia comes after the company reported a 92% year-on-year increase in revenue to $7.8 billion, driven by growth in AI infrastructure and Starlink.
