SpaceX's second-quarter earnings report revealed ambitious growth plans for the company, including reaching more than $100 billion in annualized revenue run rate by December 2026. This target is already within reach, with the company on track to achieve it thanks in part to a pending acquisition of Cursor worth $60 billion.

The company's exclusive partnership with Nvidia will play a significant role in its growth strategy. SpaceX will build its AI infrastructure exclusively on Nvidia chips going forward, citing the Vera Rubin architecture as the best for AI computing. This partnership is set to begin next year, with the first Starmind AI1 satellite compute payload already in development.

SpaceX's CEO Elon Musk stated that there is a non-zero chance of hitting the $1 trillion annual revenue milestone in 2029, accelerating its previous target from 2031 to 2030. The company's rapid scaling in AI compute capacity and growth in Starlink and launch services are driving this accelerated growth.
