SpaceX Valuation Soars Past Amazon and Microsoft
SpaceX's stock price soared on Tuesday, briefly surpassing Amazon and Microsoft in valuation, reaching nearly $2.94 trillion before momentum cooled.
The rocket maker's stock jumped about 12% on its third trading day, with over $1.16 billion in shares changing hands by morning.
Skeptics, however, have flagged the valuation as stretched, pointing to SpaceX's 2025 revenue of $18.67 billion and a net loss of $4.94 billion after merging with xAI.
Ipek Ozkardeskaya, senior market analyst at Swissquote Bank, questioned the rally's sense, stating that 'it makes absolutely no sense today' given the company's financials.
