Nvidia has announced that SpaceXAI will be deploying its Vera CPUs to support its next-generation AI applications. The partnership aims to accelerate workloads for SpaceXAI's Grok AI system, including tool orchestration, code execution, data processing, and simulations.

The Nvidia Vera CPU features 88 Olympus cores and LPDDR5X memory with bandwidth up to 1.2TB/s, delivering up to 1.8x faster task completion compared to x86 CPUs across certain workloads.

SpaceXAI plans to use the Vera processors to expand its AI infrastructure as it scales its computing capacity. The company intends to extend its use of Nvidia technology beyond terrestrial data centers and is developing its first-generation Starmind AI satellite based on an optimized Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 system, adapting the computing architecture for orbital deployment.
