SPCX Shares Rise on Musk's AI Milestone Hints

Shares of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX) rose by 1% in overnight trading after CEO Elon Musk hinted at a significant milestone with Nvidia's AI hardware.

Musk stated on X that he is 'cautiously optimistic' SpaceX will be able to run its version of Nvidia's VR72 system at close to 250 kilowatts of average power, which would be about 10% higher than peak power estimates.

This achievement would apply not only to their space-based systems but also to ground-based ones, Musk noted. He attributed the potential success to the close working partnership and co-design with Nvidia's engineering team.
