Spielmann Takes Helm at Pacific Trellis and Progressive

Rodolfo Spielmann has taken over as president and CEO of Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce, effective September 28. He succeeds Marty Kamer, who is retiring from the CEO role but will remain in an advisory capacity during the transition.

Spielmann comes with extensive experience, having previously held leadership positions at NatureSweet, Del Monte Foods, Mars, Central Garden & Pet, and Procter & Gamble.

Additionally, Andy Toelle has been hired as the new director of University of Idaho Extension 4-H Youth Development, set to begin on November 2. He brings over three decades of experience in 4-H development from his current role at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension 4-H Youth Development Program.

The National Grocers Association has also announced that Mike Ridenour joined the association as chief collaboration officer and senior vice president, most recently serving as vice president of industry relations at United Natural Foods.
