Spring High School Student Critically Hurt in North Freeway Crash
A Spring High School student was critically injured after being hit by a pickup truck while attempting to cross the North Freeway in Texas.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon near Louetta Road, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO).
Two teens were at Home Depot and decided to cross the freeway on foot, but one of them saw a pickup truck heading their way and stopped, while the other did not.
The student who did not stop was hit by the truck and critically hurt. The driver attempted to slow down and avoid hitting the student, but was unable to prevent the collision.
