The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has partnered with Coca-Cola's Sprite brand to launch India's first branded train, the Sprite Tejas Express. The train will operate on the Lucknow, New Delhi route for six months, starting in August 2026.

The partnership brings Sprite into the rail travel environment through branding, onboard offerings, and passenger engagement activities. Five coaches of the train feature Sprite branding on the exterior, while the train is announced as the Sprite Tejas Express at originating and en-route stations.

Abhishek Gupta, Vice President, Customer Development, Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia, said, 'We congratulate IRCTC on this innovative partnership and an important milestone for travel experiences in India.'
