Sriram Venkatraman Remembered for Compassion and Dedication
Sriram Venkatraman, a devoted family man and respected professional, passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on April 24, 1967, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, Venkatraman was known for his compassion, reliability, and dedication to those around him. His life embodied the Hindu verse "Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu," reflecting his deep commitment to the well-being of all beings.
Venkatraman spent his career as an Engagement Director at Salesforce, where he earned the prestigious Triple Star Ranger recognition. Despite his professional achievements, he remained humble and was admired for his kindness and expertise. Outside of work, he enjoyed art, hiking, camping, and gardening, often sharing these passions with his children.
He is survived by his wife, Ananthalakshmi Balakrihanan, his son Ajay Venkatraman, his daughter Akila Venkatraman, and his brothers Balakrishnan Venkatraman and Chandrasekaran Venkatraman. Venkatraman was also a devoted member of the New Jersey Ayyappa Bhakta Mandali and the Boy Scouts of America, demonstrating his spiritual and community-oriented values.
