SRS Expands HVAC Arm with Lohmiller Acquisition

The Home Depot's subsidiary, SRS Distribution, is expanding its HVAC arm through a strategic acquisition. SRS has agreed to buy Lohmiller & Company, a Denver-based wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment and parts with four locations in Colorado.

Lohmiller distributes Carrier Global's full range of residential, light commercial, and applied HVAC products. The company was founded in 1990 and employs 220 people. The acquisition follows SRS's recent purchase of Mingledorff's, a Southeast HVAC distributor.

SRS chief executive officer Dan Tinker stated that Lohmiller becomes the second addition to its 'nascent HVAC platform'. He mentioned that both Lohmiller and Mingledorff's are strategically aligned with Carrier.
