Star Wars Galactic Racer Launches on Amazon Luna for Prime Members
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is launching on Amazon Luna, the cloud gaming service, as part of the Prime subscription. Developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode, the game will be available on Luna from day one, alongside Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Prime members can access the game without needing additional hardware or lengthy downloads.
The game features a single-player campaign, Arcade mode for shorter events, and Scenarios mode with varying rule-sets and characters. Amazon's Head of Gaming, Jeff Gattis, emphasized that Luna players can start playing immediately, highlighting the convenience of cloud gaming. Luna, which became part of Amazon's Prime Video service in July, offers over 100 titles, including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Hogwarts Legacy, and EA Sports FC 26.
Gattis also discussed Luna's strategy to target audiences who prefer gaming on devices other than traditional consoles. He noted that these players enjoy big IP games with approachable mechanics, such as Tomb Raider, rather than competitive shooters. Luna's integration into Prime aims to serve this underserved market.
