Star Wars Galactic Racer races onto Amazon Luna and more platforms
Star Wars: Galactic Racer has officially launched on Amazon’s gaming service Luna, debuting simultaneously with its worldwide release on other platforms like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and PC. The game, developed by Fuse Games, the studio behind the Burnout and Need for Speed franchises, allows players to race repulsorcraft in a high-stakes circuit set during the New Republic era of the Star Wars universe.
Players take on the role of Shade, a racer seeking glory and revenge, competing across iconic planets like Jakku, Ando Prime, and Sentinel I. Jeff Gattis, head of gaming at Amazon, emphasized that Luna players can enjoy the single-player campaign without needing a console or lengthy downloads, especially highlighting the convenience for Prime members who already have access at no additional cost.
In other gaming news, developer Jagex unveiled new content for RuneScape, including an upcoming fourth MMO title set in Unreal Engine. The new game aims to blend the series' classic depth and freedom with modern technology. Additionally, The Traitors: Interactive Game is now available on iOS and Android, letting players experience the show’s strategic gameplay firsthand.
