The State College Regional Airport is bracing for its busiest weekend of the year, thanks in part to Penn State's homecoming game against Wisconsin on Saturday.

Ralph Stewart, interim director for the Centre County Airport Authority, says it's a 'tremendously busy' time with hundreds of fans expected to arrive and depart from the airport.

According to Stewart, over 24 flights will land before Saturday, with the same number leaving between Sunday and Monday. Among these will be a Boeing 757-200 carrying the Badgers team, which is one of the largest planes that can fly in and out of this airport.
