Steelman Seizes Lead at Albertsons Boise Open

Ross Steelman has taken the lead by two strokes after posting a third-round score of 64 at the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron. This impressive performance puts him in a strong position to win his second title on the Korn Ferry Tour.

The 25-year-old Steelman is seeking his first victory this season and would secure PGA TOUR membership for the 2027 season with a top-10 finish. He has finished in the top ten six times this season, including a win at the Blue Championship in June.

Steelman's current position on the leaderboard is his third 54-hole lead/co-lead on Tour and he has converted one of two previous chances to victory (2025 Blue Championship/T4; 2026 Blue Championship/Won). He will be looking to replicate his success at the 2026 Blue Championship, where he converted a two-stroke 54-hole lead into a one-stroke victory.
