Stock Futures Climb Amid Surging Bond Yields
Stock futures are up across the board to kick off the fourth quarter. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) and Nasdaq-100 Index (NDX) futures have risen by triple digits, while S&P 500 Index (SPX) futures are firmly in the black.
The market is brushing off pressure from bond yields and oil as chip stocks broadly climb after Micron Technology's (MU) blockbuster earnings. The 10-year Treasury yield has reached its highest level since 2002 at 5.34%, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude has surpassed $91 per barrel.
Alphabet Inc (Class A) (GOOGL) is up 1.4% premarket after unveiling its latest AI model, Gemini 4 Argon. Accenture Plc (ACN) is soaring 18.4% before the bell following better-than-expected fiscal fourth-quarter results and an upbeat outlook.
