Swire Coca-Cola Vietnam Expands Recycling Value Chain in Da Nang

Swire Coca-Cola Vietnam has launched the 'Promoting Waste Collectors' Networks - Building More Sustainable Infrastructure' program for 2026 in Da Nang, collaborating with partner Evergreen Labs. The goal is to transition from a network of collectors to a complete circular network connecting all links in the packaging value chain.

The program focuses on informal waste collectors (IWWs), who will receive protective equipment kits and gifts. A cooperation agreement was signed between Evergreen Labs, the Hoa Khanh Ward Women's Union, and the Hoa Khanh Ward Red Cross to support workers' activities, including community connection, social welfare, occupational safety, and healthcare.

More than 60 waste collection workers participated in a training course on occupational safety and first aid. Swire Coca-Cola Vietnam aims to build upon its local community initiatives, focusing on areas such as community welfare, clean water, education, and sustainable livelihood development.
