Take-Two Interactive has escalated its efforts to identify the person behind the GTA 6 leaks, filing federal subpoenas against Microsoft and Discord. The company is seeking user data tied to the leaker known as Cyberleek.

The filing states that Take-Two submitted a sworn declaration confirming that the purpose of the DMCA subpoena is to obtain the identity of an alleged infringer or infringers.

Microsoft and Discord have until September 4 to comply with the subpoenas, which request business and investigative records related to Cyberleek's internal investigation, as well as account IDs, registration emails, IP addresses, phone numbers, and linked Xbox or Google accounts.

The leaker, known as Cyberleek, has been posting GTA 6 clips for weeks now, alongside a manifesto criticizing Rockstar and Take-Two's business practices. The leaks have taken a toll on Take-Two's stock price, although it has mostly recovered since the initial drop.
