Take-Two Interactive, the company behind Rockstar Games, is taking drastic measures to uncover the identity of an individual responsible for leaking Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) clips online. The leaks began circulating several days before a planned Netflix reveal, prompting Take-Two to seek information from Microsoft and Discord.

The company has filed subpoenas in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on August 20, seeking records connected to the 'Cyberleek' persona, which appears to have been used to distribute confidential GTA 6 material. The leaked clips allegedly show gameplay and other content from the upcoming Rockstar Games title.

The subpoenas ask Microsoft to provide internal business records and investigative records associated with its investigation of the 'cyberleek' persona. Take-Two is also seeking information about accounts connected to servers where GTA 6-related material was allegedly shared on Discord.
