Major retailers Target and Amazon are warning customers about an undeclared allergen in certain prepackaged doughnuts. The Better Bakehouse Snack Company issued a recall of its Donutful Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Cake Donuts due to milk being present but not declared on the packaging.

The mislabeled doughnuts were manufactured and distributed nationwide, including online through Amazon.com, in March 2026. The affected product has a UPC number of 3 50041 39210 3, a 'best if used by' date of September 15, 2026, and the lot code 26078.

The recall was prompted after at least one person reported an allergic reaction to the doughnuts. The Better Bakehouse Snack Company stated that consumers can dispose of the affected product and obtain a refund from their point of purchase with a receipt or return the product for a refund.
