Target, Home Depot to Open in Cookeville Next Month

A major retail expansion is underway in Cookeville, Tennessee, as Target and Home Depot prepare to open their doors next month.

According to a press release from Target, the new store at 1100 S. Willow Ave. will officially open on October 11th, featuring a Starbucks coffee shop, groceries, and EV charging stations.

The store is expected to create over 150 jobs paying between $15 to $24 an hour, with stores hours running from 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday-Saturday.

A new Home Depot location will also open adjacent to Target on October 8th, hosting a family night soft opening the evening prior. The development is part of The Willows shopping center, a $60 million investment that promises to bring 350-400 jobs to the area.
