Tay Keith Estate Hit with $200,000 in Creditor Claims

American Express and Bank of America have filed claims against the estate of late producer Tay Keith, totaling nearly $200,000. The claims pertain to credit card debt and a luxury vehicle. According to court documents, American Express National Bank has filed two claims: one for approximately $60,000 related to a Business Platinum account and another for about $27,000 from a separate Platinum account. Additionally, Bank of America is seeking payment of around $115,000 for Keith's 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS.

The probate case continues as creditors were formally notified to come forward during the process. In July, it was reported that a family member had been appointed administrator of Keith's estate and disclosed substantial assets, including bank and money market accounts, a Mercedes-Maybach, a Lamborghini, and a 50 percent interest in a Memphis home.

Keith's estate also includes business and music-related holdings. The filing cited interests in Shadow Tequila and an engineering studio, along with Keith's publishing rights, music catalog, trademarks, and royalties. According to the probate documents, Keith was unmarried, had no children, and left no will.
