TCL Smart TVs Get Xbox App Streaming Capability

Microsoft has partnered with TCL to bring the Xbox app to select TCL smart TVs. This move will allow viewers to stream games through Xbox Cloud Gaming without needing a console.

The app is set to reach certain TCL models in the coming months and will be available in over 25 countries.

To use the service, players require an Xbox app, a supported controller, and cloud playtime. The latter can be included with an Xbox Game Pass subscription or purchased separately.

Xbox Game Pass members get instant access to a library of cloud-playable games, along with carrying over their games, friends, achievements, and saves across the Xbox ecosystem.
