Teams Tackles Limitation: Two Presenters Can Share Screens Simultaneously

Microsoft Teams is expanding its meeting features to allow two presenters to share their screens simultaneously. This long-awaited change will be available for desktop and web versions of Teams in November 2026, but it's unclear how mobile users will access the feature.

The current limitation of sharing a screen with only one presenter can lead to awkward handoffs between presenters or restrict content sharing. With two shared screens appearing at once, participants will be able to view both simultaneously, making it easier to compare and discuss content without constantly handing the screen back and forth.

Microsoft is finally catching up to its competitor Zoom, which has allowed multiple users to share screens within a meeting for some time. The new feature is expected to optimize the experience across different form factors, such as large monitors versus smaller laptop screens.
