US stock futures climbed higher on Monday in extended trading hours as gains in technology shares helped offset lingering uncertainty over the war in Iran.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.13% at close, while the S&P 500 gained 8.83 points or 0.12%, and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.20%. US President Donald Trump is in discussion with his national security team over Iran's deal regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Markets are keyed in on pivotal Big Tech earnings, with five of the 'Magnificent Seven' set to report their quarterly results this week: Microsoft Corp., Amazon.com Inc., Meta Platforms, Apple Inc., and Alphabet Inc. The Federal Reserve's key rate decision is also scheduled for release on Wednesday.

Nvidia Corp.'s stock surged higher on Monday, gaining 4% and breaking its 52-week high amid a broader semiconductor rally on AI buildout momentum.
