Technip Energies Unveils Modular LNG Plant Design with Siemens Energy
Technip Energies has developed a standardized, modular LNG plant design that combines electric motor-driven liquefaction compression technology from Siemens Energy and gas pretreatment and liquefaction technologies from Honeywell Technologies.
The SnapLNG 1.5 concept is built around a single 1.5 million-tonne-per-annum (MTPA) LNG train, which can be replicated for larger developments.
Technip Energies claims that the modular approach could shorten project schedules by up to two years while reducing execution risk and operational emissions.
