TechnipFMC Delivers First 7-in. Subsea 2.0 Tree to Chevron in Australia
TechnipFMC has successfully delivered its first 7-in. Subsea 2.0 tree to Chevron in Australia, marking a significant milestone for the company's Subsea 2.0 platform.
The tree was manufactured at TechnipFMC's facility in Nusajaya, Malaysia, and was delivered by a globally integrated team comprising personnel from Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas.
The delivery is part of Chevron's Gorgon Stage 3 project, which involves the installation of three manifolds and a 35-kilometer production flowline among other associated infrastructure.
TechinipFMC said that the first-article build of its Subsea 2.0 platform demonstrates its readiness for broader deployment across projects, with the ability to advance standardized subsea solutions under complex execution conditions while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and predictability.
