Ted Decker Steps Down as Home Depot CEO Amid Medical Leave

Ted Decker, chair, president and CEO of The Home Depot, has taken a temporary medical leave of absence. The company did not disclose the reason for his leave but confirmed that he is expected to return within the next few months.

During Decker's absence, two senior executives have been appointed to oversee operations: Ann-Marie Campbell, senior EVP, and Richard McPhail, EVP and CFO. Campbell will provide oversight of day-to-day operations, while McPhail will focus on financial management and The Home Depot's Pro subsidiaries.
