Templafy Brings AI-Powered Document Generation to PowerPoint

Templafy, an agentic document generation platform, has introduced the Templafy Agent Add-In for PowerPoint. This free AI agent allows users to create, edit, and review presentations without leaving the Microsoft application.

The add-in is available in the Microsoft Marketplace and brings document agents directly into the presentation workflow. Users can interact with the agent through a conversational interface, asking it to perform various tasks such as creating new slides, rewriting or translating content, fixing formatting, adding editable charts and tables, reviewing content, and more.

Templafy's Chief Product Officer, Oskar Konstantyner, explained that AI has made it easier to start a presentation but the work doesn't stop there. He stated that presentations are constantly edited, updated, and reviewed by teams, and AI should enhance this process, not create a separate one.

The add-in is free for individual PowerPoint users, while Templafy customers can connect the agent to approved company content and context, including templates and layouts, content libraries, brand rules, product information, and business data. This enables teams to use AI while drawing on information their organization already trusts.
