Tenable Adds Amazon and Microsoft Veteran Charlie Bell to Board
Tenable has welcomed Charlie Bell to its Board of Directors, bringing a wealth of experience in cloud engineering and security to the cybersecurity firm. Bell, who spent over two decades at Amazon Web Services (AWS), played a pivotal role in building AWS's cloud infrastructure. Most recently, he served as Microsoft's Executive Vice President of Security, overseeing enterprise security strategy and product engineering.
Tenable's Co-CEOs, Mark Thurmond and Steve Vintz, highlighted Bell's extensive background in building resilient, large-scale software platforms. They emphasized his ability to lead product teams through major technology shifts, from cloud computing to AI-driven security solutions. Bell's appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen Tenable's AI-powered exposure management platform.
