Tepper Loads Up on Top Tech Stocks for Long-Term Growth
Billionaire David Tepper of Appaloosa Management has been making strategic investments in several top-performing tech stocks, including Amazon, Meta Platforms, Alphabet, and Nvidia. As one of the world's top investment minds, Tepper's portfolio is worth an estimated $23.7 billion.
Amazon is Tepper's largest holding, representing over 15% of his portfolio. The company's cloud computing unit, AWS, has seen accelerating growth, with revenue climbing 37% year over year in Q2, its fastest growth in four and a half years.
Tech giant Alphabet also saw additions to Tepper's position, driven by the company's tensor processing units (TPUs), which give it a cost edge for internal use and a nice margin boost from customers that opt for them with Google Cloud. Meanwhile, Nvidia has been growing rapidly in the AI infrastructure market.
