Ternus' $58M Apple Pay Package Revealed Amid Tim Cook's Exit
Apple's incoming CEO John Ternus is set to receive a compensation package worth about $58 million for fiscal 2027. According to a Bloomberg report, this figure was disclosed in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Ternus' pay package includes an annual base salary of $3 million, as well as a stock grant with a target value of $55 million in 2027. He will also receive a prorated restricted stock unit award worth about $2.5 million for 2026.
Three-quarters of Ternus' equity award will be based on Apple's performance against the S&P 500, while the remaining 25% will be linked to time-based stock units that vest twice a year.
