Tesla Stock Soars Amid AI Factory Qualification and Energy Growth Prospects
Tesla's stock price rose nearly 3% on Monday to $375.30, its highest level in almost three weeks, after Nvidia qualified Tesla's battery systems for its new AI factory program.
Nvidia named Tesla, Hitachi Energy and LG Energy Solution as the first qualified providers under DSX Ready, a program that helps builders identify power and cooling products that meet applicable reference-design requirements.
The qualification gives builders greater confidence when evaluating infrastructure products and highlights Tesla's growing energy business, which is expected to outpace its automotive operations.
Morningstar forecasts Tesla's energy revenue will grow 30% annually from 2027 through 2031, compared with 17% growth for automotive revenue.
