Teva Beats UnitedHealth's RICO Claim Over Copaxone Charity Copays

Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc., has won a significant victory in its battle against United Healthcare Services Inc. over Copaxone charity copays.

A federal New Jersey judge granted summary judgment to Teva, dismissing claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) as time-barred.

The court ruled that United Healthcare did not act within the required four-year limitation period after it became reasonably expected to become aware of the conduct.
