Texas Exchange Gains Momentum with New ETF and Big-Name Backers
The Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) has received backing from major institutional investors such as BlackRock, Citadel, and Charles Schwab. CEO Brian Casey of Westwood Holdings Group is 'very bullish' about the exchange's prospects.
Dallas, where TXSE is located, is experiencing growth in the financial services sector, with companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan Chase setting up offices there. The city has become a hotbed for industry, with over 50 Fortune 500 companies now based in Texas.
The TXSE's first new ETF, Westwood Salient Enhanced Power & Infrastructure ETF, will invest in the power ecosystem, including traditional utilities and grid infrastructure. Casey sees this sector as the next big opportunity, driven by the increasing demand for compute power.
