The Home Depot Skills Explorers Launch Aims to Ignite Interest in Skilled Trades Careers
The Home Depot has launched its Skills Explorers program in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, aiming to introduce young people to skilled trades careers. The launch event took place at the John H. Harland Boys & Girls Club in Atlanta on September 17, 2026.
Leaders from both organizations, including Kevin O'Connor, host of 'This Old House,' were present at the event. Michael Rowe, Vice President at The Home Depot, was also in attendance.
The Path to Pro Skills Explorers is a hands-on resource designed for young people aged 11-17. It aims to introduce them to skilled trades careers through interactive experiences.
